Positions
We are always interested in enthusiastic candidates willing to join out team.
- Ph.D. OPPORTUNITIES are available for candidates with a theoretical background through the Graduate Program at the University of Tokyo, Faculty of Engineering, Department of Mathematical Informatics. For more information please refer here.
- POSTDOCTORAL OPPORTUNITIES, EXPERIMENTAL NEUROSCIENCE
We seek exceptional candidates with experience in optogenetics and/or two-photon calcium imaging. Candidates should have a Ph.D. in a relevant field (e.g., Neuroscience, Biology, but we also consider candidates from Physics, Math, Statistics who switched to experimental research). Proficiency in MATLAB is necessary as well as experience working with rodents. Qualified candidates are expected to apply for a research fellowship from domestic or international funding programs (e.g. JSPS, HFSP). The position will be offered conditional to obtaining independent funding.
- POSTDOCTORAL OPPORTUNITIES, THEORETICAL NEUROSCIENCE
We seek candidates with a strong computational background, especially in the field of machine learning, with demonstrated experience working with artificial neural networks. Candidates should have a Ph.D. in a relevant field (e.g., Computational Neuroscience, Computer Science, Math, Physics). Proficiency in programming (e.g. Python, MATLAB) is necessary. Qualified candidates are expected to apply for a research fellowship from domestic or international funding programs (e.g. JSPS, HFSP). The position will be offered conditional to obtaining independent funding.
